These are all photos taken from the non-kill animal shelter/rescue I foster and volunteer for. Now that "kitten season" is upon us I fear these cats will find it hard to find a home. I know everyone wants a kitten, but try to keep an open mind when you go to pick out your cat. They pick US, we don't pick them. So don't pass up the 7 month old guy giving you "the eyes". He doesn't look at just anyone that way.

Well, this is one lucky duck!
Amy spotted him on Columbia yesterday morning and we figured he/she had escaped from one of the local slaughterhouses. Our friends Patti and Laura managed to get him into a cat carrier. I picked him up and took him to BARC shelter for an overnight stay (Joey, sorry he peed on you). Vinny at BARC said to call Diane over at Raptor Trust. Diane pointed me to Sean Casey Animal Rescue and Sean was able to take him in.
He made it! Thanks, everybody :)
